Klovn is a Danish sitcom, which first aired on the Danish TV channel TV2 Zulu. It focuses on the life of the main character Frank and Casper. The show builds its comedy around quiet everyday situations, social awkwardness, uncomfortable silences and general faux pas. Klovn usually gets compared to the American sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm by Larry David. It’s also shot handheld, in a pseudo-realistic style. Some have also mistakenly compared the theme to Curb Your Enthusiasm’s, despite it being a direct reference to Jacques Tati’s Mr. Hulot movies. The poster for the first film can be seen in Casper and Frank’s offices throughout the series. Klovn initially ran 6 seasons on TV2 Zulu from 2005-2009 and was renewed with an additional 3 seasons that aired from 2018-2022.

Frank goes to the bank with Mia's revenue from the tea business, but things go wrong and he ends up without his cell phone. However, he managed to send a declaration of love to Mia before - unfortunately to the wrong phone number. Christmas Eve, children in Santa clothes, a furious Iben, Swedish sour current, a bank robbery and lame, brain-dead Bodil with a Santa beard will be part of Christmas, which after all is the feast of hearts.
Casper, Frank, Iben and Mia are going on vacation. Due to a fight, the girls drive to the summer cottage alone. On the way, Frank and Casper picks up a couple of young hitchhiking girls. Being stung in the groin by a lion's mane jellyfish, Frank is unable to take advantage of Mia's ovulation.
Frank is offered membership in Casper's beer club, a men's club where the reality of life is discussed. An argument with one of the beer club's old members, Jarl Friis Mikkelsen, about a wool sweater, unfortunately endangers the recording. Mia and Frank end up in a grief therapy group, and Frank gets into trouble with a cat, Susan, and his feces.
The prepper group gets busy organizing, and Frank is now a fully accepted member. In return, he and Mia have various post-marital hookups.
