But when the wife of police chief Andre Caron is brutally murdered, the finger points squarely at him. Caron begs Jean to clear his name, and the case takes her into the world of international art dealing, where all is not what it seems. Can Jean save Caron and bring the real murderer to justice?
For the first time, Jean has friends from England visiting Sainte Victoire: a fellow antiques dealer and his new husband on their honeymoon. They just want to enjoy the town's beautiful shops and sights, but they seem to have someone on their trail, intent on making it a very short trip. Could the key lie in a mysterious pack of old Tarot cards? Or is there something even more sinister at play?
